Looking northeast. |
 |
| The roof is nearly complete! A small area where the
garage roof meets the wall of the house has been left
incomplete to allow the application of the stucco without
damage to the tiles. Today, 7.May, the county building
inspector signed-off on rough-in inspection - a major
milestone! |
 |
| The roof tiles are loaded but not locked. Winds
clocked at 91 mph tumbled a few of the stacks and broke
some tiles. We hope the roofers get them nailed down soon. |
 |
| The craftsmanship of Mark and crew from Trail Ridge
Timber Frames. |
 |
| Margaret pulls wire through the garage roof trusses. |
 |
| Dad at work in the greenhouse, removing the old tile
from the hot tub. |
 |
| The Kachelofen (masonry heating stove) is a blazing
success! |
 |
| Winter settles in as we wait two months for the
balance of the special T&G roof decking. |
 |
| The big glulam beams that will support the roof go up. |
 |
| Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) walls begin to grow
from the slab. |
